Sheila, Daisy, D2 doesn't a dog deserve its own name?

This dog is an absolute sweetheart! She has been bounced in and out of animal shelters and is looking for a permanent home. She is loving and attentive to children, loves to play, snuggle on the couch and have her belly scratched. She is unreliable off lead at this point because of her tendency to follow scents (exactly what her genes tell her to do). She is headstrong on the collar but walks great on a harness. She has been working on her obedience and can sit, come and lie down in controlled settings. Because of her history she has some separation anxiety and can be destructive if she feels insecure. We have worked extensively with her on this issue since she has been here and she has come a long way in a short time. She has a very strong hunting instinct so she is unreliable outside alone even in a fenced yard. Her energy level is moderate. She plays very well with a variety of dogs. She is less sure of cats but seems to coexist with them. This dog is smart, loyal and has a great sense of humor. She is looking for someone who has the time to devote to her and is willing to help her work through some of her issues.
