Our not so little Marmaduke

Duke is a big boy with a big soft heart. He is a very big and very sweet baby. When he gets to know you he talks to you, voicing his opinions on being left alone, on not getting enough play time, on wanting more cuddle time. He loves people and he loves being the center of attention. I don't know how anybody could spend an afternoon with this big goofy dog and not end up laughing and seeing the brighter side of life. His voice is deep and handsome but not well suited for apartment living or anybody who finds the intensity of a hound's voice annoying. He loves to be chased and to play fetch. He is great with other dogs and corrects injustices with his voice. He is crate trained but prefers sleeping on a couch or in a bed. He is not aggressive with his toys or foods but sometimes forgets that he is a big boy when he plays. There is not a mean bone in this dog's body. He is a bundle of energy, joy and love.
